Hello, I'm Jim Hennessey. I have been working with my hands since a very young age. I started with wood, moved onto cars (paint/body, engine & electrical), fixed F-16's in the Air Force for 20 years, then wrote software and managed technology. And, except for the F-16's, I still do all of those things -- and home improvement projects!
It has always been about doing things right -- and doing what is right. I still live by the Air Force Core Values -- Integrity, Service, Excellence.
People make all the difference, and that is especially true regarding Meghan (left) and Sarah (center). Sarah is our outstanding office manager who keeps me straight (not easy) and our schedule moving. Meg is an outstanding, talented apprentice/technician and consummate perfectionist and professional. They, like our customers, make all the difference!
I dislike the word expert... My dad taught me long ago that "ex" is a has-been and "pert" is the sound of dripping water. My expertise is in continuous learning, attention to detail, focus on excellence, and combining fundamental principles with experience to bring about outstanding results. I then apply the Edison principle of dogged determination until the results reflect Weathersby Guild standards.
Many of my competitors are less expensive. Many of those competitors' work reflect that. And, many of those competitors have been an outstanding source of business for us. Bottom line is, you do get what you pay for. I don't mind coming out and fixing someone else's work, but I do dislike having to charge for it. It generally adds 50% to a repair or refinish. As of March 2023, I have only had 3 warranty requests out of more than 13,000 items repaired. That's a 99.999% first-time right rate. If you truly want to save money, pay for having it done right the first time. Choose Weathersby Guild.
